The apartment was personally designed and decorated by me as an interior designer, and its character is one of the things guests appreciate most. Exposed brick walls, soft pink accents, carefully selected furniture and plenty of natural light give the loft a warm and distinctive feel. This is not a standard furnished rental, but a real home with personality. The apartment features an open-plan living area and a fully equipped kitchen with kitchen island, a comfortable box-spring bed with quality bedding, a bathroom with both bathtub and shower, fast Wi-Fi, TV with Chromecast and everything you need for a comfortable longer stay. There is also a small balcony and terrace. Location The location is just as special as the interior. Linkeroever is a lively and increasingly popular residential neighbourhood directly across the river from Antwerp’s historic centre. You are very close to the energy of the city while enjoying more space, light, greenery and easier parking than you would typically find in the city centre. Antwerp’s historic centre is only around 500 metres away as the crow flies. You can cross the Scheldt via the iconic pedestrian tunnel, take the metro, or use the free Sint-Anna ferry, which takes you across the river to Het Steen, right in the heart of historic Antwerp. At the same time, nature is right on your doorstep. Galgenweel lake is at the end of the street, while the marina, Sint-Anna forest and Middenvijver are all nearby — ideal for walking, running or simply enjoying some peace away from the bustle of the city. If you prefer getting around by bike, there is also a Velo Antwerp bike-sharing station right in front of the building, making it very easy to cycle into the city and explore Antwerp like a local. Parking Another major advantage is the easy and affordable street parking — a real benefit in Antwerp. From Monday to Saturday between 9:00 and 19:00, the first two hours are free, followed by only €0.90 per additional hour, with no maximum parking duration. Outside these hours, as well as on Sundays and public holidays, street parking is free. Free all-day parking is also available at the end of the street next to Galgenweel. Compared with staying in Antwerp’s historic centre, where street parking for non-residents is much more limited and public car parks can quickly become expensive, this makes the apartment particularly convenient for guests travelling by car.
