Maison 4 chambres, Braine-le-Comte

Fauquez is home to the Chapelle de Verre. A former Art Deco chapel that has been fully restored and bears witness to the region's glassmaking past, this emblematic site was built in the spirit of the famous Fauquez glassworks founded by Arthur Brancart, a major figure in the Belgian glass industry. Behind its atypical facade of brick, stained glass and glass elements, the property offers a spectacular atmosphere. At the heart of the building is a magnificent reception room of around 120 m², boasting remarkable acoustics and rare architectural features such as rosettes, marble, crushed glass frescoes and a glass floor. In addition, you'll also find a lounge area with a wood-burning stove and a fully-equipped kitchen on the first floor. The property also includes: -a charming 3-bedroom gîte overlooking the chapel, -2 shower rooms, -an independent 72 m² private apartment, a south-facing garden with terrace, vegetable garden and pond, tree-lined outdoor spaces and private parking. Designed to combine private and professional life, the property features two separate entrances separating the residential and event areas. A rare and inspiring property, ideal for a cultural, events or tourism project, or for lovers of places with character in search of an unusual heritage.
