Cookie policy

House Hunter uses as few cookies as possible. Analytics and marketing trackers load only after you accept them in the cookie banner — the site works fully without them.
Strictly necessary
A locale preference (NEXT_LOCALE) so the site remembers your language as a fallback, your login session token, and the record of your cookie choice itself (hh-consent-v1, stored in your browser's local storage). These don't track you and don't require consent.
Analytics and marketing (consent only)
If you click Accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (traffic measurement; _ga cookies, ~14-month retention) and Meta Pixel (campaign measurement; _fbp cookie). If you click Reject or ignore the banner, neither is loaded and no analytics cookies are set.
First-touch attribution
We store where you first arrived from (e.g. a utm_source parameter and the landing page) in your browser's local storage. It is sent to us only if you register, so we know which channel brought you. It involves no third-party cookies and no cross-site tracking.
Changing your choice
You can withdraw consent at any time from Settings → Privacy in your account, or by clearing this site's data in your browser — the banner will ask again on your next visit. Questions: [email protected].
